Rodney has received minimal training, so he will require ongoing development.

He is very affectionate and eager to please his people.

He is not fond of other dogs because he was attacked as a puppy, though this seems to be an issue primarily with smaller dogs that rush at him. We have tested him with a larger dog, and he was curious without showing aggression.
