It’s a good idea to book a vet appointment within the first two weeks of adoption to ensure your dog is healthy and up to date on vaccinations.

  • What is foster to adopt?
Foster to Adopt is a program that allows potential adopters to foster a dog for a trial period before committing to adoption. It gives both the adopter and the rescue time to determine if the Bullie is a good fit for the home environment. During this 4 week period, the Bullie lives with the potential adopter, who provides care and attention while assessing compatibility. If everything goes well, the foster home becomes the dog's permanent home, finalising the adoption process.
  • I live in a flat can I still adopt?
Yes, you can still apply to adopt a Bull Terrier if you live in a flat. However, the suitability will depend on factors such as your access to outdoor space, your commitment to exercise, and your ability to meet the dog’s needs in a smaller environment. Each application is assessed individually to determine if it's the right fit for the dog
  • I have other pets, will I still be considered for adopting
Yes, you may still be considered for adoption if you have other pets. However, it will depend on the temperament and history of the Bull Terrier as well as the personalities and behaviours of your existing pets. The rescue will assess compatibility to ensure a safe and harmonious environment for all animals involved.
  • What if I want a specific Bullie?
If you apply for a specific Bull Terrier, we review your application to see if you match the dog’s needs. We consider factors like your home environment, lifestyle, and experience with the breed. If another applicant is a better fit, they may be prioritised. However, your application will remain on file for other suitable dogs.
  • Can I adopt a dog if I have children?
Yes, but suitability depends on the dog’s temperament and experience with children. We’ll discuss this during the matching process.
