Lady is a beautiful, well-bred girl who comes from a line of Crufts winners — and she certainly carries herself like a lady. She’s affectionate, friendly, and absolutely adores people, children, and other dogs. Sadly, due to her owners’ long and irregular working hours, Lady isn’t getting the lifestyle she deserves, and they’ve made the difficult decision to find her a more fulfilling forever home.

💖 Personality & Temperament

Lady is a happy, excitable soul who greets life with enthusiasm. She can get a little over-excited initially but settles quickly and is loving and gentle once she’s said hello.

• Adults: Very friendly, excitable at first

• Children: Loves children and has lived happily alongside a 5-year-old

• Strangers: Loves everyone she meets

• Dogs: Gets on wonderfully with dogs she knows and those she meets out and about — she just wants to say hello!

🐾 Other Animals

Lady lives with a cat and is not bothered by them at all. While she hasn’t lived with other cats, she has shown no prey drive in the home. She would likely be fine with sensible introductions.

🎾 Play, Training & Enrichment

Lady enjoys toys — especially ropes, balls, Kongs, and the occasional slipper! She has basic training (sit, paw) but would really benefit from ongoing, positive reinforcement training, particularly around recall, which is currently unreliable. She previously enjoyed off-lead freedom but began bolting, so she is now walked on a training line.

🏡 Home Life

Lady is used to being left for around 6–7 hours during the day and has free run of the flat. She is clean, non-destructive, and settles well. She sleeps on the sofa and enjoys full access to the home (aside from the cat’s area).

She loves her comfort — especially her bedtime pyjamas — and will come with crates and a collection of clothes.

🌳 Exercise & Environment

Lady really needs more outdoor time than she’s currently getting. She would thrive in a home with a secure garden or access to fields, where she can stretch her legs and enjoy regular walks. She can be a little noise-sensitive at night when out walking, although she isn’t bothered by fireworks indoors.

🩺 Handling & Care

Lady is a dream to handle — she loves baths, tolerates nail trimming, and is easy to manage for general grooming and vet checks.

She is fed a raw diet (chicken and lamb mince) alongside Bakers chicken & vegetable biscuits. She has no food aggression but has some dietary sensitivities (no chicken necks or duck feet).

Lady would do best with:

• A home with a garden or access to open space

• Owners who have the time to walk, engage, and continue her training

• A multi-dog household or as a much-loved only dog

• Older children or a family who understand excitable dogs

• Ongoing training to help build confidence and improve recall

Lady is a loving, social, and affectionate dog who has so much to give. With the right time, space, and companionship, she will truly flourish and make a wonderful lifelong companion.
