Man's Best (and Most Mischievous) Friend
I am a man's dog; I listen better to men. But once they're gone, I tend to get a bit naughty with the ladies! Sorry, not sorry!
OVER PROTECTIVE? MAYBE A LITTLE!
I can be overprotective of my humans. I've nipped (not bitten!) someone before, but I swear I was just over-stimulated! I'm like a toddler who missed nap time—full of energy and attention-seeking!
Stranger Danger! (But Only for Men)
Sometimes I growl at strangers, mostly men. It's like my internal alarm system is malfunctioning. Strange, right? Maybe I just need a little more doggy therapy!
Kid-Friendly (With a Side of Boundaries)
I'm good with children, but with new ones, I need boundaries set. I don’t want to overwhelm them faster than a kid in a candy store!
Small Breeds? Not My Cup of Tea
I don't get along with small breeds. I’ve lived with a Chihuahua and a Yorkie, but lately, we’ve been on a break. Could be hormones—who knows?!
Daycare Drama
I’ve been to doggy daycare and got along with everyone except one retriever. I thought my favorite lady was in danger, so I lunged at him. Spoiler alert: I came off worse and ended up with a cut on my head. Oops!
Leash Drama
When I see other dogs outside on a leash, I get over-stimulated and might growl back. I used to have a dog walker who had no problems with me on a leash. But with my humans, I pull a lot. Maybe because my leash is always kept really short? Just saying!
Training? Yes, Please!
I haven’t had any formal training, so I’ll be a work in progress. If you have time and patience, I promise to be worth it!

🏠 With someone who can put the time into training with me (I’m a quick learner… eventually).
🏠 Strict boundaries, routine, and structure to my days (because I need to know when snack time is!).
FINE PRINT:
🐾 I need boundaries set (no more stealing snacks!).
🐾 Will need a strong figure to keep me in check (I’m not saying I’m a handful, but…).
🐾 I would benefit from training, and it would help me bond with you too (let's be besties!).
🐾 I would also benefit from plenty of exercise—either long walks or running around an enclosed field (I’m basically a furry marathon runner).
