Dottie

Dottie is a lively young pup who will require a lot of patience. Having been a show dog, basic commands like "sit" are unfamiliar to her, and she also struggles with leash walking, so obedience training will be necessary. Like any EBT, she needs routine and firm boundaries.

She is a fun-loving dog who simply wants to be with you, whether it's walking around the garden or snuggling on the sofa.

She would thrive best as the only dog in the household because she can be quite intense with other dogs. She isn't fond of male dogs and has only interacted with females, as she tends to be somewhat dominant. Older female dogs can put her in her place.

She adores people but hasn't been around children, so she would be better suited to a home with older children, aged 12 and up, due to her enthusiasm.

Fine print:

🐾 As a former show dog, Dottie has minimal training beyond what was necessary for shows, so she'll need basic training.

🐾 She can be overwhelming for other dogs, so she should be the only dog. She has lived with six other EBTs but only interacted with the females.

🐾 She should be kept away from small animals.

🐾 At night, she sleeps in her crate and can stay there if you need to leave the house.
